Sabbath Greetings to all of God’s beloved elect people of the Philadelphian scattering and those of the Laodicean mindset(hoping they will answer the knock on the door by Christ Jesus our Lord). I write this greeting with a sad heart due to the condition of God’s church as it stands today, and with all the machinations going on of who is right or wrong about whatever and the coming PO and UB season; physically leaderless, but in reality spiritually led and guided by our spiritual leader and head of the Body Jesus Christ, over those holding Fast to the ‘Faith Once Delivered’, according to the commandments of Christ and the Apostles.
These present times are times of darkness and peril for the world as it gears up the pace to war and social upheavals, but for us this season, this particular time is a time of reflection, refocus, a return to the commitments of our Faith if any have strayed, a time to reflect our calling and the legacy of Mr. Herbert W. Armstrong, God’s late end time Apostle and the work done through him with the support of the Philadelphian era of God’s Church. It is a time to consider and be reminded of, meditate and absorb the depth of God’s love for us (and all of humanity, for God so loved humanity(not the world) that He gave His only begotten son as a ransom for many, (and Christ willingly in perfect unity with the Father freely offered Himself) through the sacrificial offering of His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ(the WORD of GOD) to pay the penalty of our sins and reconcile us to the Father; for by Christ shed blood we are cleansed of our sins, by His death we are reconciled to the Father, and by His resurrection the door to eternal life has been opened to us, as Christ leads us and presents us to the Father our.
Brethren(and I am only talking to God’s true Elect and converted people with a repentant spirit and a penitent heart), these are not times for God’s people to debate, argue bring forth so-called new truth/heresies, or bring in new material from and or by ministers nor lay members, or materialize stumbling blocks for those of weaker or relatively new in the Faith etc, as it seems to be happening among many among God’s people. For my dear brethren, there is only one Body, one Spirit, one Faith, one Doctrine, one Baptism and One GOD, the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. and therefore we are ALL ONE with Christ and the Father; no division, no discourse, or arguments nor debates of doctrines given to us, nor introduction of apostasies/heresies etc, nor introduction of wounds or sores, nor I am with him or him etc. The reality my brethren is that the pure Faith has already been given through the Apostles and recently revived in its fullness of truth, beautiful and perfected in love, through His end time servant and Apostle Mr. Herbert W. Armstrong (whether you like it or not). For the reality my beloved brethren is that God only directly works through His Chosen servants for that purpose in reveling truth to His congregation the Church and not in lay members, this is abundantly clear in the writings of the NT Apostles and the fruits of His end time apostle. There is no excuse, and using the scripture, “To grow in the knowledge and Grace of Jesus Christ”, is greatly misunderstood and misapplied by many who use it to introduce stumbling blocks for God’s people in these times of uncertainty and end of days. Here are the Apostles teaching on Grace:
I Peter 1:2: Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
I Peter 1:10: Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
I Peter 1:13: Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
I Peter 3:7: Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
I Peter 4:10: As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
I Peter 5:5: Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
I Peter 5:10: But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
I Peter 5:12:
By Silvanus, a faithful brother unto you, as I suppose, I have written briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God wherein ye stand.
II Peter 1:2: Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
II Peter 3:18: But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
James 4:6: But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
As one can see, Grace is given and is increased by the Father through ones continual repentant/penitent heart, and growing in the understanding of Christ Himself, of who and what He is, and the depth of the meaning of what He did for humanity and HIS teaching of the Word of God the Father; and not about new truth, doctrines whatever by lay members or ministers or evangelist alike. It includes a personal close and growing relationship with the Father and Jesus Christ.
Brethren, I would like to finish with some of the Apostles Peter’s teachings that strike the target every time:
1Pet 1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, 21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. 22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently.
1Pet 3: 18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
1Pet 4: 7 But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. 8 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. 9 Use hospitality one to another without grudging. 10 As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
1Pet 5: 4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away. 5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. 6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. 10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. 11 To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
And the Apostle Paul warns, Hebrews 13:9: Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.
Brethren, as we approach the PO and DOUB, let’s put aside for now the machinations of this world as it arms and provokes human nature and insanity to play the death game in Satan’s world, as this world will soon end under the power of God and His Christ, His only begotten Son; but instead let us be mindful of the teachings of all the Apostles, be mindful of our precious calling, be mindful of the depth of Love God has for us in that He gave His only begotten son for us, and lets be mindful of our attitudes and love for one another as God expects of us(for we are all made in the image and likeness of GOD), as the Apostle John taught in his two epistles 1&2 John. For these are very needful for the times we are entering in, bringing to mind the need of the PO and UB, that yearly reminds us of the memorial of Christ’s sacrifice for humanity, and its vital participation in the Holy Spirit, the blood cleansing us of our past 12 months of sin which we incur, and the bread of the body for our healing; and then to move forward in putting this sin out of our lives.
Beloved brethren, am I an apostle, a prophet, an evangelist, a minister or a pastor or any of these things, or speak on behalf of any of these? Certainly not!!!, I am none of these things, nor claim any such things in case there is any misunderstanding by anyone. What am I then? I am a fellow brother in Christ along with you, who loves God’s one true Church, His elect sons and daughters in Christ, His purpose and plan for His Church and humanity; and so what I am is a humble disciple of Christ Jesus our Lord and saviour, one of God’s little ones.
Do not presume me insincere brethren and disingenuous and just hot air, for you would be very wrong. My conscious is clear and stand in reverence before the Almighty God who seats on His judgment seat over all the Earth, and speak only what is in my heart by the Spirit of God in full awareness of who and what I am. I mean everything I say and am as real as they come, for I walk in the fear of GOD and keep the testimony of Jesus, which is the spirit of prophesy, and are holding on to the Faith once delivered and revitalized through God’s end time Apostle, Mr. Herbert W. Armstrong through the Philadelphian era of the God’s Church; at all cost!
Finally brethren, Grace and Peace be to all our brethren, with brotherly love and faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace be with all His Elect that love our Lord Jesus Christ in the Spirit of truth and sincerity of mind and heart, Amen.
Ps. As the world is posed to destroy, we God’s people look to the “World Tomorrow under the kingdom of God” very soon now to be established by the triumphant return of Our Lord and God Jesus Christ.
